Hello, my name is Zayka. I was asked to apply here.
Approximate date you started: Complete newcomer, just a few weeks ago. I have been playing on and off since then.
Previous guilds: None.
How active are you in game: Varies heavily. I'm busy full time with university and writing my master's thesis at the moment. Sometimes I'm around for most of the day, if my schedule allows, other times I'm absent for days. In addition, my current system is really weak and I can't put much stress on it often, unfortunately.
How did you hear about us? References (if any): The very insistent press-gang aka Thugsta and Mariox~
Why did you consider us? Mariox and Thugsta!

What do you generally do when you get on?
Mariox has been taking me to do a lot of quests and dungeons, whenever I get the chance to get on.
What is your fighting style?
I'm a full mage.
How far into the generations did you get to?
I beat Saga 1 and currently am up to G11 in the mainstream.
What is your most favorite genre? (be it games/books/movies/ etc)
Games: If I had to pick one, it would probably be turn-based tactics (with or without RPG): Final Fantasy Tactics, Advance Wars, X-COM and the recent Shadowrun Returns/Dragonfall, for example. Other than that I enjoy both fast and slow-paced games of various genres.
Books: I have a fondness for science-fiction and its subgenres, because my dad used to read them for me a lot, one of the more memorable ones being Isaac Asimov's "Lucky Starr, Space Ranger". Years later I still love reading stories set in the vast space, with wondrous technology and thrilling adventures.
Movies: No real preference. I will watch anything from horror to comedy to thrillers and action movies.
Music: I like progressive rock (especially Devin Townsend) and synthpop (like Ladytron and Iris) a lot, but I listen to anything that sounds good to me and love discovering new music.
You're going to be on a deserted island and you can only bring 3 items. What are they and why?
If people and animals count, I would love to bring Mariox and my dog - they're the best company I can imagine and would keep me sane.
If not, then it would probably be survival gear - a butane torch to light fires for cooking, a crossbow for hunting (never used anything like this before, but would have to learn in a pinch and the bolts are reusable) and a multitool, very useful for having cutters, knife and saw. Other useful things might be a flashlight and radio, but they're fairly useless once the batteries run out. Would a fully-stocked first aid kit count as one item? Or am I cheating here? :>
(That said, as fun as it might sound, I probably wouldn't survive long anyways!).

While I never played Mabinogi before, I've heard various stories and generally nice words about it. So far I have really enjoyed it. There's a variety of fun skills and spells and the explorable world is fairly huge. The customization system is also quite diverse. The people I've met so far have been very kind and patient with me. A little while earlier, Thugsta took us to do the desert dragon and my computer slowed down to a crawl. It was still fun, though! :>

Ah...the road for mage is a long one...costs a lot of ap, and gotta hunt for the pages for int magic... You're gonna be there for a while hahaha.
Did you make sure to minimize people,names and parties when you went to the dragon? that usually helps somewhat.
Does mario and thug push you to keep your rebirth/level ratio high? hahahaha
