Znel's Application
In Game Name:
Znel
Total Level and number of rebirths:
7371 and 99
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Approximate date you started:
Sometime during open beta
How active are you in game:
I am generally online every day nowadays. Even though I started playing when mabi first started, I had to take a 2-3 year break due to college and military life.
Joined any previous guilds? If so, which one(s) and reasons of leaving them:
Active: They were not that active.
How did you hear about us? References (if any):
Saiite & Shapno: Said it would be a good home for me.
Why did you consider us?
Seemed like a guild of serious players without hand-me-down asking players who could not handle a hardmode mission alone.
Who is the founder of the guild:
the founder is Thugsta.

Re: Znel's Application
What is your combat style?
What skills are you working on right now?
If you were in a situation where a close friend of yours and a guild mate are in an fierce argument, how would you go about trying to resolve it?
Sometimes people in the guild are busy/afk so the guild seems dead. Are you fine with that? (They do go on a lot though)

- My current combat style is Ninja/Gunslinger. I see it as the fastest way to crowd control and hold back enemies. When done properly, you can be untouchable without using pet spam.
What skills are you working on right now?
Right now I am current working on my Mage skills. I am a master mage but I'm gathering more int for my gun's attack damage. Next will be to finish Fighter for more will for my Shuriken's damage.
If you were in a situation where a close friend of yours and a guild mate are in a fierce argument, how would you go about trying to resolve it?
- If that situation should ever occur I would try to mediate the situation by making them realize that the petty disagreement that they are having is not that major. If any loss in assets occurred, I would try to replace those assets with my own resources as I am very generous.

There is a difference between being inactive and just being busy with daily life. That is perfectly fine with me if guildmates are busy/afk. I'm not expecting to join a chatroom, just a nice home with people who occasionally socialize and play together.

Hi, you made -bullets like you were going to say multiple things in the "What is your combat style?" and "If you were in a situation where a close friend of yours and a guild mate are in a fierce argument, how would you go about trying to resolve it?" part, were you going to say something but decided not to? or was that just an error in your nice reply with headers. Honestly, your answers are quite satisfying for me, I just wanted to know about the bullets in case you wanted to say something else but decided not to because it might look negative on you.

I think that was an error. I said all I wanted to say. I can be an alright person. I get along with everybody and very adaptable to different environments. I'm sure I would fit in within your home

Hi Znel, I remember you when we were in active together. Is Active the only guild you have joined in mabi? Did you quit Active just a few days ago?

Re: Znel's Application
I quit active twice within the month of December. I had joined back because Lunar, the leader, is a good friend of mine. But when I joined, most of the core players left and were replaced with even more inactive members. I decided to leave Active again because I realized if I stayed there just for the friendship, I would not grow as a person or a character in mabinogi. The real world works the same way. Sometimes you have to move on.
Also, about 2 years ago I was in a guild that was lead by CocainKatie. It was a long time ago and I forgot the guild name, that's why I did not bring it up. Can't remember lol. I had quit that one because it was 2 years since I last logged on and i doubt anybody remembered me. I was several thousand levels behind.

Hairflip was CK's guild. Close friend of Lunarfire sounds interesting. How good are you with secrets?

Re: Znel's Application
I have a question.
Say you are browsing kiosks in Dunbarton and see that an enchant potion is listed at 1m. You noticed that in party chat someone was buying an enchant potion for 1.5m. Clearly they did not see the kiosk and the kiosk owner did not see the party chat. What do you do, assuming you have at least 1.1m in your bank?
How would your answer change if you knew a friend has been looking for a 1m enchant pot but is offline?

Re: Znel's Application
I've had similar scenarios, Zerdafox. In those same situations, I either informed the member/friend that I found it cheaper and to hurry up and come get it. Or I'd but it for them and sell it to them for the price I bought it for. I don't benefit from trying to try to make a profit of guild members or friends.
If a "friend" was looking for that said item but was offline and I knew of it, I would really just buy that item for the friend and give it to him/her whenever they appear online.
As I stated in my intro, I'm very generous. It's not to boast my funds, but because the game is more fun to play when your friends and/or guildmates are happy and benefiting from your contributions.

What about if you bought a solar glory piano for 2m. Turns out you didn't like it after using it. You saw someone buying it for 3m? Do you sell it for 3m or 2m since it breaks you even. If you sell it for 3m do you tell them that you got it for 2m.

If it is a random party advertisement, I sell it for 3 mil because then I'd be just another player in the market system. If it is a guild member or friend, I sell it for 2mil and let them know that it is just me getting my refund on the item for disliking it.
